Which
Group in Ethiopia are the Enemies of Eritrea and it’s People?

has an article posted at Meskerem.net that reads: READING
“ETHIOPIA’S HIDDEN AGENDAS...” This
article motivated me to write the following comments.
Comments:
- Dr.
Taddesse thinks we Eritreans are very divided. Well Eritrea is a
multi-cultural and multi-ethnic Country. Eritrea is just another third
world country. However, the majority of the Eritrean people have always
been united against the external enemy, as far as I know.
- Dr.
Taddesse mentioned about the soccer he used to watch in Asmara. I know
that he also used to go to the stadium in Addis Ababa to watch Shoa
playing against Eritrea in the Zewudi Cup and Giorgis playing against
Embasoira or Asmara for the club cup. Basically all Eritreans supported
whichever team came from Asmara. Moreover, I used to watch most Tegarus
supporting Eritrean Teams. Even in First World Countries such as UK, we
all know the gangs of football. This has no political relevance, however.
Even the American presidents have their favorite teams that are from their
home state of origin and colleges they went to during their undergrad
studies.
- Dr.
Taddesse wrote, “Within
the political discourse of the small nation of Eritrea, lurks the
existence of an unbelievably numerous power centers.”
Well everything is relative. Can you give us
another third world country that is better in … than Eritrea? I do not
know how close you are with Eritrean Organizations and their leaders. Many
of us are working hard to make them UNITED. The fact that we have ENA
dissolved and EDA born is a success to the Eritrean People. Though we have
a long way to go we will eventually get there. By the way I am just
wondering to know what your group is doing these days? Is there an
Eritrean Organization that is willing to make a Unity or at least a United
Front with you against whoever you think is your common enemy?
- Dr.
Taddesse asks us, “I ask
myself, almost daily, why can’t some of our compatriots see the danger
of flirting with Weyane? “ Oh
dear, Can
you tell us who is the friend of people such as the #1 Enemies of Eritrea
in the Past, Now and the Future i.e. ex-members of MEISON, WEZLIGUE, TPDM,
ECHAT, EDU and their off springs (the Ethiopian Opposition Organizations)
that never accepted The right of our Country Eritrea to Independence?
- Dr.
Taddesse continues to ask us, “ … Or
Isaias, for that matter? Is it that hard to understand that Isaias is
destroying our nation and undoing our unity?
Dear Dr., I would like to inform you that many
of the People in the Eritrean Opposition used to teach the true picture of
Isaias long time ago. These
people who never got the opportunity like you and even myself (their
genuine supporter) to be where we are; are still fighting for the Unity,
Democracy and the Emancipation of our people from your ex-friend Isaias
Afeworki, his ruthless thugs the PFDJ losers. Hence, let’s talk to them
to heal their pain and help them lead us to our Capital Asmara. By this I
mean Asmara Eritrea free of Deki …, who have identity crisis?
- Moreover,
those who never understood Isaias i.e., for they were Deki-Gerhi Liba
have already started to runaway from him for they finally have found out
who this thug is destroying our homeland. By the way there will always be
some losers out there who will be dreaming of Isaias after we dismantle
him and his PFDJ.
- Brother
Dr. Taddesse informs us: “I
just finished reading an interesting article entitled, “Ethiopia’s
Betrayal and Hidden Agendas towards Somalia,” written by Dr. Abdi Aden

“ I
do not know about others, as to me I have read this article and have
concluded that this does not apply to my Eritrea.
Conclusions:
What we need to do and need to know is:
- Work
on uniting the EDA its leadership and Meseretat.
- Work
on healing of the wounds we have among each other.
- Work
on inviting all organizations outside EDA to EDA.
- Study
and evaluate our past mistakes and prepare for what is coming to us in the
future.
- Study
our enemies within and outside Eritrea
- Start
to respect the rights of Minorities such as the Afar and Kunama People’s
genuine rights in Eritrea.
- Know
that Eritrea is not Somalia, Israel, Singapore … and so on (All that
nonsense). But still Eritrea is Great.
