To Whom It May Concern:

Eight days have passed since the march, Walk For Freedom begun.  I am writing this email on behalf of the marchers with the intention to make the “Walk For Freedom” (WFF) more successful.

I have visited almost all Eritrean internet media outlet; some of you have published and posted pictures and a link to WFF home page, thank you so much for doing that.  However, we are concerned and puzzled the fact some of you have not given WFF the minimum attention it deserves.

Therefore, in the spirit of good will & solidarity we the Freedom marchers are calling upon you, all Eritrean media internet outlets and all opposition groups internet websites to publish and post a link to WFF, as shown below.  We are kindly asking you to give WFF the attention and space it deserves on your websites. Please show your solidarity for human rights effort in Eritrea.

We are also respectfully calling upon the opposition group leaders, to publicly call upon their members who are in Washington and it’s surrounding to be part of Walk for Freedom and to participate in the finale August 28, 2006.  We hope to see something in writing in this respect published at respective opposition groups websites.

We believe human rights issue is an issue that should create solidarity, unity among all Eritreans irrespective their political affiliation and their ideology.  That’s why we strongly believe all Eritrean who care about their fellow Eritrean prisoners of conscience should take ownership of this WFF historical project and be part of it.

FYI…. Please see WFF home page links below for up-to-date information.
