Number of Eritrean youths languishing in the prison situated in the Sawa training camp is increasing from time to time. It was 200 in 2004 has climbed now up to 800, bare-footed,ill-fed and medicated. The prison cell is under grounded and well cemented. They work for twenty four hours and denied right to bath their bodies. It is a place  where the driving force of the Eritrean youths are jailed mercilessly. Therefore, the Eritrean civic societies, should exert maximum effort to bring this site to the attention of the International community so that they can visit. There are, some 10,000 conscripted youths who have finished their military training and are waiting for the last whistle of the Eritrean president to fight that will consume and cost their life. Still, there are 20,000 new arrivals on cue for further training.

Commencing the first date of the sixth up to 11th of the same month, 215 Eritreans, including infants and elders have slipped into the Sudan. Regardless of the brutal actions the state had taken, nothing has deterred the highly oppressed Eritreans to cross the border.
